Bringing ideas worth spreading to Melbourne Uni! TEDxUniMelb is an independently organised series of TEDx events run by passionate Melbourne Uni students.
We offer independently organised TED-style (http://www.ted.com) events for the local University community, licensed officially by TED. As well as this we offer less formal social events to create a like-minded community. We also wish to hold events that help club members improve their public-speaking abilities and practice spreading their own ideas in an open and friendly environment.

🎤 Introducing Dr. Kieran McLeod – TEDxUnimelb Speaker
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kieran McLeod, a South African-trained medical doctor with a rich background in emergency medicine and field hospital experience, including work with Médecins Sans Frontières, as a speaker at TEDxUnimelb.
Dr. McLeod is currently the Head of Medical Knowledge at Heidi Health, an ambient AI-Medical Scribe platform based in Melbourne. He has also co-founded ByeGwaai, a mobile app-based smoking cessation program, aiming to revolutionize the way smokers quit.
We look forward to hearing Dr. McLeod share his insights on the intersection of healthcare and technology, and how innovations like AI can transform medical practice.
