Welcome to our Book Week!!!📚📖

Our children and educators had the wonderful opportunity to dress up as who they would like to be, inspired by their favourite characters from books. It was a beautiful celebration of imagination, creativity and self-expression, as the children brought their favourite stories and characters to life through their costumes.

We loved seeing their excitement, confidence and creativity shine throughout the day and more to come in the next days.

Today, our Platypus children enjoyed a relaxing movie session watching Winnie the Pooh as part of our Pyjama Week celebrations.

Dressed in their pyjamas, the children sat together, watched the movie with interest and shared smiles and conversations with their peers and educators. This experience promoted a sense of belonging, supported emotional wellbeing and encouraged listening and social interaction.

The children engaged in circle time by participating in a yarning activity. Each child was given a piece of yarn and had the opportunity to share their thoughts, experiences or ideas while holding the yarn.

The activity encouraged turn-taking, active listening, confidence in speaking and respectful communication. The children remained engaged, listened attentively to their peers and demonstrated positive social interactions throughout the experience.

🐔 It’s almost time to say goodbye to our little feathered friends! 🐥💛

Over the past two weeks, our children have been on an incredible journey through our Henny Penny Program, watching the miracle of life unfold from egg to chick.

From eagerly waiting for the eggs to hatch to cuddling and caring for the chicks each day, this experience has been filled with excitement, curiosity, and so many special learning moments. The children have learnt about life cycles, responsibility, kindness, and how to care for living things through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

This Friday, we’ll be saying goodbye to our fluffy visitors as they head back to the farm. While we’re going to miss them, we’re so grateful for the memories they’ve helped create and the valuable learning they’ve inspired.

We’re sure our little chicks have left a lasting impression on all of us! 💛🐣

This week, our children and educators celebrated National Reconciliation Week by creating a beautiful community village inspired by the theme “All In.”

Through collaboration, creativity and meaningful conversations, the children explored the importance of inclusion, belonging, respect and working together as a community.

At 123KIDS, we are proud to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our program and support children in developing an appreciation for diversity, connection, and reconciliation.
