Buzzing with Learning This Month 🐝
This month, our Kinder and Preschool children enjoyed a special Friends with Honey incursion. During the experience, the children explored the life cycle of honey bees, learned about their body parts, and discovered the important role bees play in pollination. They also learned how honey is harvested by humans and had the opportunity to taste honey.
To extend the children’s interest and learning, we set up sensory play experiences, cooking activities, and enjoyed many discussions about bees and honey throughout the month. These experiences supported curiosity, hands-on learning, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.

All About the Birds was one of the projects which we have been working on in our Preschool class. It was amazing to see how much children showed interest in the different activities and they continued to refer it back to the 2 small beautiful eggs we found in our yard.
