๐ No Bullying Week | Small Acts, Big Impact
At St Andrewโs, we are proud to recognise No Bullying Week in Victoria and this yearโs powerful theme: Small Acts, Big Impact.
Our students are learning that creating a safe, respectful and inclusive school community doesnโt always require big gestures. Sometimes, itโs the small acts that make the biggest difference โ including someone, using kind words, standing up for a friend, showing empathy, and making sure everyone feels that they belong. ๐
Together, we can all play a part in creating a school where every student feels safe, valued, respected and included.
๐ฑ Small acts. Big impact.
๐ค Be kind. Be brave. Include others.
๐ Together, we can make a difference.
On Friday, our staff came together for a valuable Professional Learning Day focused on strengthening teaching and learning at St Andrewโs.
Together, we explored our Annual Action Plan, the MACS Vision for Instruction and what high-quality explicit teaching looks like in practice. We also examined the importance of vocabulary development and how we can support students to confidently move from understanding language to using it themselves.
It was a wonderful day of learning, meaningful professional discussion and shared commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every student ๐โจ.

๐ Exploring Human Dignity ๐
Recently, our Year 3/4 students have been exploring the important concept of Human Dignity through the teachings of Jesus and Catholic Social Teaching. ๐๐
Students have been learning that every person has inherent worth and value, while reflecting on how we can show respect, compassion and care for others in our everyday lives.
To share their learning, students created informative posters raising awareness about the importance of recognising, respecting and upholding the dignity of every person. ๐จ๐ซถ
A wonderful reminder that every person matters and deserves to be treated with kindness, dignity and respect. ๐ซ
