Our Term 2 fundraiser is now up and running and we are excited to have it provided by the wonderful team at Ivan’s Pies.

Starting today, we’re distributing order forms for our upcoming pie fundraiser. You’ll find the form attached to this email, and printed copies will also be available at the entry/sign-in area.
Simply fill out the form and deposit funds into our fundraising account to place your order, and please ensure you're able to collect your pies on delivery day.

We’d love the support of all our enrolled families — even if you're not planning to order yourself, we’d really appreciate you sharing this opportunity with friends, family, and colleagues.
Every order helps, with all funds raised going directly towards purchasing new educational resources for our centre.

Important Information:
• Order Deadline: Friday, 29th May 2026

• How to Order: Complete the form and return it via email or in person to the office by the due date.

• Payment: Please transfer payment to our fundraising account (details are listed below). Note: This is a separate account from fee payments. Use your family name as the reference (e.g., “Beacom Pies”).

• Delivery & Collection Day: Tuesday 16th June 2026
Orders will be delivered to the centre on this date. If your child does not attend on Tuesdays, we’ll contact you once your order has arrived so you can collect it.

• Storage: We are unable to store pies on site, so please ensure you or someone on your behalf can collect your order on the day.

• Product Info: Pies are delivered frozen — perfect for stocking up your freezer!

📢⭐️Volunteer Treasurer – Qualified Accountant Needed (Ringwood East)📢⭐️

Knaith Road Childcare Centre, a long-standing not-for-profit community-run early learning centre, is seeking a qualified accountant (CPA/CA) to step into the voluntary Treasurer role.

This is a governance and financial oversight position (not day-to-day bookkeeping). Approx. 4–6 hours per month including one evening committee meeting.

Ideal for a retiree, semi-retired accountant, or finance professional wanting to give back to the local community.
Must be a resident of the Maroondah municipality.

A big thank you to 𝐊𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞 & 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐧 for having me at your trivia night on Saturday. I was lucky enough to be the 𝘱𝘭𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘦 at Table 9 — a group of lovely parents who welcomed me in and made me feel right at home.

💛Together, we helped raise $𝟑𝟕𝟎 for the centre through the Rosy Retreats voucher donation — such a wonderful result for a beautiful community. 🌸Even better, the winner of the voucher is already excited and ready to roll with their first session — I can’t wait to help them create calm and clarity in their space!

It was such a joy to see everyone come together to support the children, laugh, and connect. A true reminder of how special community really is. 💕

It’s that time of year again, back by popular demand:
Our Mango fundraiser!

The Mango Fundraiser only use Bowen Special Mangoes which are more formally known as Kensington Pride Mangoes.

They are packed in a single layer tray and each tray will usually have between 12 and 22 mangoes, with a total tray weight of approximately 7kg.

As well as having a great taste, Mangoes are packed with nutritional goodness – Vitamin C (one Mango contains your recommended daily allowance), Vitamin E, Beta-Carotene, antioxidants, Potassium & B Vitamins. They are low in fat & Cholesterol free.

When you buy Mangoes from the Mango Fundraiser you know the fruit is coming directly from the farm to you. Your mangoes aren’t being held for long periods in storage or ripening rooms.

There is a minimum overall centre order of 64 trays. Please feel free to share with family and friends so we can reach the target!
