Beware of Australian work visa scams in Bangladesh!!!!

Australian fake work visa is a serious problem affecting many people in Bangladesh. Scammers are targeting innocent people with false promises of Australian work visas, especially subclasses 491, 408 and even 401, which have not existed since 2016.

These scammers present fake job offer letters, convince people to trust them and pay huge sums of money. Over the past few weeks many people have tried to contact me with fake job offer letters. Today I brought a case where someone was almost cheated. After checking with the supposed employer, it was confirmed that the job offer was bogus.

Yes, Australia has a skills shortage, but they are not as desperate to bring in agricultural workers from Bangladesh. Please, don't fall into these traps.

Today’s launch is a culmination of important research into carbon sequestration of seagrass that has been carried out for the last few years by Australia’s peak scientific research institution, CSIRO and the Mauritian Ministry of Blue Economy, Marine Resources, Fisheries and Shipping through the Indian Ocean Rim Association - IORA Blue Carbon Hub.
