We are proudly celebrating Reconciliation Week and exploring what it means to be “All In.” ❤️🖤💛
Educators and children have been engaging in meaningful discussions about respect — for each other, for our environment, and for the cultures and stories of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Through art experiences, storytelling, group conversations, nature play, and hands-on learning opportunities, children have been sharing their ideas about kindness, inclusion, caring for Country, and working together. These experiences help build a deeper understanding of connection, belonging, and respect within our community.
We are so proud of the thoughtful conversations taking place across our learning environments as children learn that even small actions can help create a brighter and more inclusive future for everyone.
Together, we are all in. 🌿

This week our team took part in professional development focused on Protective Strategies and what this looks like in everyday practice within our centre.
Through this training, we continue to strengthen how we support children in building important lifelong skills. Over time, children begin to recognise and understand their feelings, set personal boundaries, and learn when and how to seek help from trusted adults. These are essential foundations that help children feel safe, confident, and supported as they navigate the world around them.
We truly value the knowledge, culture, and beliefs each family brings to our community. By working together, we can ensure these strategies are introduced in ways that feel respectful and meaningful for every child and family.
Creating safe environments for children is a shared responsibility, and together we can help build their confidence, resilience, communication skills, and ability to ask for help when they need it.

🌺 ANZAC Day – Lest We Forget 🌺
Today we remember those who served and sacrificed for our country. We honour their courage, kindness, and sense of mateship, and take a quiet moment to reflect with respect and gratitude.

Our children have been busy exploring the world through their senses.🌿✨
Through hands-on experiences with plants, herbs, and flowers, the children have been engaging their sense of smell and sight in meaningful and exciting ways. They have been smelling fragrant herbs, observing the different colours and shapes of flowers, and noticing the small details that make each plant unique.
These sensory experiences support children in building their curiosity, awareness of the natural environment, and confidence to explore with all of their senses.
We love creating opportunities for our children to connect with nature and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them 🌸🍃

We’ve had a wonderfully busy and exciting time at our centre, and we’d love to share a few highlights with our community 💛
📘 Upcoming Information Nights
We’re looking forward to hosting a Toilet Training Information Night in May, designed to support families with practical strategies, confidence, and consistency as children reach this important milestone.
We’ll also be holding a Kindergarten Information Night, where families can learn more about our kindergarten program, school readiness, and how we support children to transition confidently into their next chapter.
🛡️ Protective Strategies Training
Our educators will soon be attending Protective Strategies training, which is an important part of our ongoing commitment to child safety and wellbeing. This training supports our team to recognise, prevent, and respond to behaviours of concern, while always maintaining safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environments for every child.
🤍 Celebrating Our Community
We’ve been incredibly proud to receive such positive feedback recently from families, as well as visiting third-party professionals including Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists. Hearing how welcoming, inclusive, and supportive our centre feels is a true reflection of the dedication and care our educators bring every day.

Our learning environments are thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning.
Through hands‑on experiences with natural materials, insects, animals, storytelling, and open‑ended resources, children are encouraged to explore, investigate, and make sense of the world around them.

🐰🌸 Easter Fun🌸🐰
From creative crafts to exciting group experiences, the children have truly embraced the Easter spirit 🐣✨
A surprise visit from the Easter Bunny, who hopped in to say hello to children and staff! What a busy week🐰💛
🌷🐣🐰🌸 Easter Learning Through Play! 🌸🐰
Through an Easter ball play activity, the Nursery and Toddler children explored throwing, rolling, and catching as they pretended to help the Easter Bunny catch the eggs! This supported their hand-eye coordination, gross motor development, and confidence as they practiced controlling their movements and working together with friends.
Easter art, the children enjoyed painting, decorating eggs, and creating bunny-inspired artwork 🎨🐰 These experiences encouraged self-expression, imagination, and the development of fine motor skills as children used different tools and materials.
These playful Easter experiences not only brought joy but also supported children’s physical, social, and creative development, helping them learn through hands-on, engaging activities.
Wishing all our families a happy and safe Easter!
