The beauty of this 😍😍

"In the 27 years of my woodworking business, I have never thrown away a knot. Many people see knots as a defect, but to me knots are the visual representation of a trees struggle to thrive. Not all little limbs become big branches, but their combined efforts on behalf of the tree as a whole should be celebrated. Just like human scars they tell a story of sacrifice and healing. It might be watch me mummy, daddy, grandpa, grandma, teacher, aunty, uncle, friend. But whoever a child chooses, feel honoured and make the time. They have someone they trust to share their development and evolving identity with which is as important as the new skill itself.

Happy New Year Everyone!! 😁
I'm not sure how you're all feeling but I slumped towards the end of 2020. A big part of my plan to gain my energy back for 2021 was getting back to nature and discovering new places while we are restriction free (in Melbourne). This photo was taken up Mt Strzelecki at 756metres. I would love to see any of your pictures or read some comments about how you're rebuilding your optimism or connection to nature.

Environmental solution for our runners and sneakers that have been loved to death.

Problem
25 million pairs end up in landfill every year.
Each shoe takes 1000 years to decompose.

Solution
Recycle them at various locations in Victoria such as Rebel Sport, in a pilot program we need everyone to get behind so it will role out nationally.

Thanks everyone for standing by me personally as well professionally. I haven't been able to offer extra classes, answer my emails or take phone calls for a few months now. I haven't forgotten where my heart lies but I already have 60children in my care and on top of self care thats about all I can manage right now. But the community support around me is what keeps me whole and that feeling of generosity and reciprocity. As soon as I can, I will be offering more of my time again. Here is to looking after each other. 😊💚
