WELCOME TO RINGWOOD EAST PRIVATE CHILD CARE AND KINDERGARTEN

Welcome to Ringwood East Private Child Care and Kindergarten, this is a private family owned Centre. The Centre is owned by Kristie-Lee Scanlon and her aunt Christine Newell. Kristie-Lee is a loving mother of one, her daughter also attends the centre. Kristie-Lee has been working in childcare for 10 years, and has a Graduate Diploma in Education and you will see her running a highly dedicated kinder program and Centre. Christine has a Diploma in Childcare and has previous experience of directing a 65 place centre in Box Hill for 20 years. Christine has continued her love and passion of working with children by working at various centres in far North Queensland. She has new found knowledge and experience that she can share with staff and children. Christine has three teenage boys and a wonderful husband. She will be at the centre as often as she can, otherwise will liaison with Kristie-Lee, staff and parents as much as possible. Being a parent herself and employing other staff with children enables us all to understand the feelings and anxieties faced by parents when choosing quality care and education for their child. We would like parents to feel confident that their children are safe and happy, whilst they learn and grow with us. Parents are the most important people in their child’s life and therefore will be encouraged to be involved in the decision-making about their child day-to-day activities. Our highly experienced and qualified staff will provide education and challenging programmes that enhance all areas of children’s development. Trust, confidence and high self-esteem are of utmost importance as from these qualities all other areas of development flourish. The centre is air conditioned and centrally heated. The centre is fitted out with an extensive variety of toys and equipment to ensure children’s safety, comfort, learning and play.
