Melbourne University Filipino Students Association (MUFSA) The home of Filipino culture at the University of Melbourne. Melbourne University Filipino Students Association is open to students of all nationalities.

Our club’s aim is to promote the appreciation of Filipino culture, and to bring about a stronger relationship and understanding between the Filipino culture and the larger diverse student body here in Melbourne University. Our activities include informal get-togethers (movies, bowling, karaoke), participation in activities through performance (dance, song) and the preparation of Filipino food, and a club ball. We hope to create an atmosphere which promotes leadership, creativity, and camaraderie. The members of MUFSA are glad to welcome you! Mabuhay! :)

MMUFSA X CAFE presents: Ube Galore! ☕️✨

This week, get excited to indulge in a collaboration between CAFE and the Melbourne University Filipino Student Association as we explore the delicious flavours of the Philippines! 🇵🇭

For this event, we will be serving three ube specialty drinks:

- Ube milk with matcha cream
- Ube latte
- Ube coconut

We will also be serving a decadent, creamy mango float, available for $3! 🥭✨

We hope to create an inclusive environment where people can meet, connect, and share an appreciation for Filipino culture through food and drinks! 💜

✨❄️We’re back for WinterFest 2026!❄️✨

We hope you’ve all enjoyed the winter break! Now that semester 2 has begun 🏫, the Melbourne University Filipino Students Association (MUFSA) 🇵🇭 is back in action!

You can catch us at the WinterFest Clubs Expo this Wednesday where we’ll have a booth 🎪 at Market Hall. We invite you to drop by to get to know more about the club as well as meet some of the committee! 👨‍💼👩‍💼

Whether you’re coming as a new or returning member, you can sign up on the day for some exclusive freebies! 🎁 Membership is $5 for UniMelb students and $7 for associate and external members, valid until February 2027.

Then start your engines and come this Wednesday for our pizza game night ! 🏎️🏁 Enjoy a chill night with friends and a variety of board games from poker to jenga and monopoly. 🎯♦️🧩 This event is perfect those exhausted from mid-sem assignments and exams! 😵‍💫📝

You don’t need a ticket for this event !!! You’ll only need a ticket if you want to be guaranteed 2x 13” pizza slices from Duke’s Pizza. Drinks will also be provided for those who don’t have a ticket.

Anyone up for some sweet treats? Join MUFSA for ANOTHER FOOD EVENT and this time, with Filipino desserts! We will be serving mango float and taho.

What’s on the menu? ✨
1). Mango float: a chilled, no-bake dessert made with layers of sweet cream, graham crackers, and ripe mangoes — perfectly sweet, rich, and creamy.
2). Taho: a classic Filipino street snack made of silky soft tofu topped with warm brown sugar syrup (arnibal) and chewy tapioca pearls.
