🌿 **Learning, Respecting and Growing Together** 🌿

Our team recently attended **Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Awareness Training**, which gave us new knowledge and a deeper understanding of Aboriginal culture, history and connection to Country.

The training introduced us to new ideas and resources, including the significance and uses of native plants, meaningful books and stories, and practical ways to respectfully embed Aboriginal perspectives into our everyday teaching and learning.

It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on our current practice and learn how we can create more authentic, culturally respectful experiences for children through our environment, resources, conversations and daily curriculum. ❤️💛🖤

🏫 **Connecting with Our Community – Edgars Creek Primary School Excursion** 🌿

Our Kinder children enjoyed a wonderful excursion to **Edgars Creek Primary School**, supporting their transition to school while strengthening our connection with the local community.

The children explored the school environment, visited classrooms and the library, listened to stories, participated in drawing experiences and enjoyed exploring the junior playground.

This meaningful experience supported children to build **confidence, independence, communication and a sense of belonging**, while becoming more familiar with what school looks and feels like.

A big thank you to **Edgars Creek Primary School** for warmly welcoming our Kinder children and helping us create positive connections between kindergarten, school and our wider community.

At Story House Epping, we love celebrating our team’s achievements, dedication and growth. 💙

Today, we are proudly recognizing team members who have reached wonderful milestones of 5 years and 3 years of service. Their consistency, commitment and dedication are a true reflection of the strong and passionate team we have built together. 🌟

We are also incredibly proud to celebrate some exciting career achievements and promotions within our service:

🎓 Prashanna Shrestha, our Educational Leader, has been promoted to the new Pedagogical Practice Partner role across Story House. We are so proud of her achievement and the contribution she will continue to make to pedagogical practice across our network.

🌱 ECT Jugmeet has proudly stepped into the role of Educational Leader at Story House Epping. We look forward to seeing her leadership, knowledge and passion continue to grow in this important role.

🎓 Charanjit has successfully completed her bachelor’s degree and has been promoted to the well-deserved role of ECT in our 3–4-Year-Old Kinder Room. What a fantastic achievement!
