General information
- All Ages: 6+
- All Levels: Beginner - Advanced
- All Styles: Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk, Latin, Metal, Folk, Classical etc.
Beginners start with the basic building blocks that are necessary to strum a few chords, play a few songs and understand a little bit about the music you are playing. For students at a more advanced level, your skills and knowledge will be evaluated and your learning program will be designed accordingly to fit your needs.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Josh holds a bachelor's degree in music and performance and has many years of playing/teaching experience behind him. He has played in various originals bands and cover shows around Sydney and is currently the lead guitarist of an up and coming alternative rock band.
This has given him the necessary skills & knowledge in live performance, production, composition, music theory and improvisation that allow him to teach anyone who comes his way.
TOPICS COVERED:
Knowledge and skills are acquired in pick technique, rhythm and strumming, ear training, chords, scales, arpeggios, notation and tab, music theory and a range of musical genres. Other related topics that we can also cover are live performance, song-writing and composition, sound/production and improvisation.
We also have the facilities to record students in professional audio quality.

Guitar lessons available at the main studio in St Ives or in the comfort of your own home!
PRICING:
Studio Rate: $45/hour
Student Rate: $35/hour
Home Visits: $55/hour
Student Rate: $45/hour
Half hour lessons are also available and discounts are offered for both hour and half hour lessons when 10 week lesson packs are booked in advance.
