These photos are from a home that had a slow leak from the shower base, over a period of 2 to 3 years. The black structures on the concrete, are the roots of mould that have spread under a wooden floating floor. The leak has also caused structural damage to the bottom plate of the wall,which is not visible in these photos. If you have any leaks in your shower people, do not leave it. Get your leaks seen to ASAP.
