+ some plyo work -> Lauren has a dancers body 💪🏻 which means while she IS strong, flexible, and dedicated as HECK, the lower half sometimes doesn’t cooperate due to the nature and history of the sport, including the stigma around training, eating, and particularly ballet. (perfect time to say EVEN DANCERS SHOULD WEIGHT TRAIN). So we spend a lot of time training ankle stability, giving glutes (particularly glute med) some spotlight for strength, and teaching her proprioceptive movement starting from the foot, so the lower back doesn’t try to do the jobs of the pelvic/hip area. Good luck for Lauren this season!!! (Sydney better get ready)
