3–6 Athletics Day – Postponed
Tomorrow’s 3–6 Athletics Day has been cancelled due to the forecast weather conditions and with a number of schools across the region postponing their athletics events.
At this stage, we do not have an alternate date confirmed; however, we anticipate the event will be rescheduled for Term 3. As soon as a new date has been finalised, we will communicate this with families as quickly as possible.
Any payments already made through Compass will remain on your child’s account and will be carried over to the rescheduled event. There is no need to make another payment once a new date has been confirmed.
We understand this may be disappointing for some of our students and families, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this late change may cause.
The safety and wellbeing of our students, staff and volunteers is always our priority, and this decision has been made with that in mind.
Thank you for your understanding and ongoing support.

Hello families,
Due to the forecast of significant rain and winds later this week, there is a possibility that the Year 3–6 Athletics Carnival may not proceed as planned.
Given the nature of the venue and the predicted rainfall over the coming days, there is a concern that the grounds may remain too wet for the event to be conducted, even if conditions improve on the day.
We are closely monitoring the weather forecast and venue conditions. A final decision will be made and communicated to families by 12:00 pm on Wednesday June 17th regarding whether the carnival will proceed.
Should the event be postponed, alternative dates and arrangements will be organised and communicated to families as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, staff and families.
