Opportunity to contribute to important research in back pain by Scott Tagliaferri:
We are looking for individuals from MELBOURNE to partake in two testing sessions: (1) physical, mental, and social health, pressure-pain thresholds, and spine imaging (Imaging @ Olympic Park in Richmond; 2 hours), and (2) brain imaging (Monash Biomedical Imaging in Clayton: 30 minutes).
For completing both sessions, participants will receive a FREE REPORT on the state of their low back tissues from a musculoskeletal radiographer and a $70 GIFT CARD.
We are looking for the following participants:
1. Who DO NOT have current low back pain and [1] have not had low back pain which has lasted more than 24h, except for muscle soreness related to physical activity, within the last year; [2] never had medical treatment (e.g. seen a general practitioner) for low back pain and [3] never taken time off work due to low back pain.
AND
2. Meet at least one the following criteria:
Female, Age 46-55years, Height 155-165cm, BMI 35.8-45.8
Female, Age 18-25years, Height 174.3-184.3cm, BMI 19.3-29.3
Male, Age 46-55years, Height 168-178cm, BMI 28.1-38.1
Female, Age 18-25years, Height 164.0-174.0cm, BMI 23.0-33.0
