Load is another word for stress. Load can be internal or external.
โข An example of an internal load is how hard an activity โfeels.โ
โข An example of an external load might be how many steps a person takes or how many jumps they complete.
Capacity is a fancy way of saying; can you tolerate or withstand what youโre doing! Capacity is determined by the load that you place on your body, your muscle, and your bones.
Health is a game of averages and capacity is the same, itโs the average load that you place on your body that drives your capacity.
๐ฏ The aim of load management is to keep load and capacity similar. If you want to boost your capacity, youโre going to have to increase your load progressively!
