Today our Kindergarten children joyfully celebrated Harmony Day! 🧡🌏

The children explored the meaning of belonging, respect, and inclusion through a variety of engaging experiences. They shared stories about their families, learned about different cultures, and expressed themselves through art, music, and group activities.

It was wonderful to see our children embracing diversity, showing kindness to one another, and celebrating what makes each of us unique. Together, we are building a community where everyone feels valued and included.

📚✨ Literacy Learning Can Be Fun!

Have a look at how our Kinder children are learning about letters in a creative and engaging way.

Through making their own letter mobiles, the children explored letter recognition while decorating and assembling their creations. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, conversation about letters and sounds, and a love for early literacy.

🧪✨ Learning Through Science at Kinder!

Today our Kinder children explored the importance of hand washing through a fun and simple science experiment!

Using water, black pepper, and hand wash soap, the children observed what happens when “germs” meet soap. The black pepper represented germs floating in the water. When the children dipped a finger with soap into the water, they were amazed to see the “germs” quickly move away!

At Eco Kids Hampton Park, our children have been exploring numeracy through hands-on learning using weighing scales ⚖️

Through this experience, children are learning to:
🔢 Compare heavy and light
🔢 Explore concepts such as more, less, equal and balance
🔢 Count and measure using real materials
🔢 Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Using scales encourages children to make predictions, test their ideas, and engage in meaningful conversations with their peers and educators. These practical experiences help build a strong foundation in early mathematics while making learning fun and interactive.

It’s wonderful to see our curious learners confidently experimenting, discussing their discoveries, and developing their understanding of measurement and number concepts.
