Our amazing educators brought stories to life this Book Week by dressing up as some of our favourite book characters! 📖

Book Week is a wonderful way to encourage children’s love of books, imagination, language and communication skills. Our educators used their costumes to spark conversations, help children recognise characters, recall stories and share their own ideas.

Through storytelling and playful experiences, children discover that books are not only for reading — they are a wonderful way to learn, imagine and explore!

Celebrating Book Week at HCMC

What a wonderful week of "imagination, creativity and storytelling" at Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre!

All our rooms, from -Toddlers through to Kinder-, proudly participated in our Book Week Display, with children contributing their "ideas, voices, artwork and creativity".

Our displays were inspired by **children’s interests and favourite storybooks**, making each room unique and meaningful. It was wonderful to see children’s **voices and ideas valued and reflected** throughout our displays, while their imagination, creativity and love for stories shone brightly.

A special thank you to our amazing educators for creating such engaging opportunities for children to explore books through art, storytelling, conversations, creativity and collaboration. ❤️

🚦 **Learning Road Safety with Tingle Toodle!** 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

What an exciting and engaging day at HCMC! Our Kinder children had a wonderful time participating in the **Tingle Toodle Road Safety Incursion**, where learning about road safety was made fun, interactive and meaningful.

The children explored important road safety concepts, including **holding hands with an adult, stopping and looking before crossing the road, listening carefully and staying safe around roads and driveways**. 🚗🛑👀

Through songs, movement, stories and engaging activities, the children confidently shared their ideas and practised safe choices in a fun and supportive environment.

It was fantastic to see our Kinder children so excited to learn and demonstrate their growing understanding of how they can keep themselves and others safe. 🌟

A big thank you to **Tingle Toodle** for helping our children develop these important lifelong safety skills! 💛
