Celebrating Our Wonderful Educators!

What a beautiful Educator's Day celebration at Goodstart Taylors Hill! Today we took the opportunity to celebrate and recognise our incredible team of educators for the dedication, passion, care and commitment they bring to our children and families each and every day.

A heartfelt thank you to all our families for the beautiful messages, thoughtful gifts and kind words of appreciation! Your generosity and recognition meant so much to our team and made the day even more special.

We are also incredibly grateful for the many messages shared among our team. It was wonderful to see our educators acknowledging and celebrating one another and the important role each person plays in creating a warm, nurturing and inspiring environment for our children.

To our educators - thank you for everything you do! Your patience, kindness and genuine care make a lasting difference in the lives of the children entrusted to us. We are so proud of the amazing team we have at Taylors Hill!

Ever had one of those "What should I be doing with my child?" moments? You might already have the answer at home.

Earlier this year, every Goodstart family received a What & When for Families guide for each child. If it's been tucked away in a drawer since then, now might be the perfect time to pull it back out.

The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.

From singing songs with babies and playing peek-a-boo, to "I Spy" games, storytelling and treasure hunts with older children, the activities are designed to fit naturally into everyday moments you already share together.

We know learning doesn't only happen in the classroom. Those small moments at home can help build big communication, language and literacy skills.

Celebrating Book Week Through Creativity!

Our Book Week displays are a wonderful celebration of the children's creativity, imagination and love of stories! Through drawing, painting, storytelling, collage and construction, the children have brought some of their favourite books and characters to life. From the Gingerbread Man, Goldilocks and the Three Bears to our collection of story-inspired artwork, each creation reflects the children's unique ideas, perspectives and enthusiasm for books.

We are incredibly proud of the children for sharing their interpretations of these much-loved stories and for working together to create such engaging and imaginative displays. Their creativity truly brings our learning environment to life!
