Key responsibilities:
✅ Plan and facilitate the VCE Summer Tutoring program
✅ Recruit, train and lead an amazing team of tutors
✅ Inspire students to achieve their academic goals

To be eligible for this role, you must:
🫡 Hold a valid Working With Children’s Check
🫡 Possess good verbal and written communication skills
🫡 Be passionate about addressing educational disadvantage

Why pay up to $120 an hour for a tutor to teach one subject 💸, when you can pay $2 an hour (collected in a flat fee of $150!) for an all-inclusive two week program that provides students with the opportunity to study up to 6 VCE subjects with experienced tutors. 📚

Students will also have access to free daily breakfast and lunches 🧺, wellbeing support and the opportunity to study inside the “world-class” Learning and Teaching Building at the Monash Clayton Campus! 🎓

🌟 VCE Summer Tutoring is a charity organisation which aims to fight educational disadvantage in Victoria through delivery of a two-week academic support initiative in January each year 🌟

💌 We aim to provide an inclusive and high-quality education to everyone, no matter what their background is. To ensure the program is accessible to students who have experienced disadvantage, there are assistance sourcing bursaries to address the impact of financial circumstances 💌

🐝 If you think any young people going into Year 11 or 12 would be interested in attending the summer school, we would love to invite you to share the details of the program with them. We have attached a brochure with some further details about our program, or you can point them towards our website where they can find information about the program and apply to enrol: https://vcesummertutoring.au/ 🐝

Congratulations to “The VCESTars” for their victory at our Trivia Fundraiser last week. You can catch a glimpse of their work with their answers to our “Wrong Answers Only” round ⭐

We’re grateful to all our attendees for coming together and supporting our mission in style with trivia at the Clyde. Thanks to their generosity, we raised just over $750 to help us deliver our summer program at the lowest possible cost for the greatest number of students possible.

It’s truly special to feel the support of our community behind us 🫶
