Uniq-ly You Designs has come about after the tragic loss of my big bro Jehan.

Long story short, I mashed up:
my love for uniq ideas - my sadness, grief and mixed emotions - my drive to keep my brothers name alive - my passion for creativity - and a small CNC Router into something that would make a difference.
And just like that, after playing around with some ideas and the support of close friends and fam- Uniq-ly You Designs was created.

It is named after my brother who was formerly known as DJ Uniq- a name we came up with as 13year olds as we played with music day in day out.
The butterfly symbolises all that the beautiful butterfly does- pain and suffering leading to growth and transformation. Letting go of old cycles. Moving from one phase of life to the next- reaching outward and forward and higher. Leaving the safety of the cocoon and finding your own place amongst the flowers of life. Self-Discovery and rebirth. - It symbolises what he was going through and where he is now.

Giving back and making a difference is what its all about. A percentage of profits go directly to a small orphanage in Srilanka. Why SriLanka? Because that is the homeland of my parents. My Dad takes the money over every 3-4 months and uses it for what is needed at the time. So far we have: provided the kids with a ‘special’ meal once a month held on the 21st of each month, paid for the children’s school books and supplies for 2018, organised Christmas gifts for the children and bought the children new clothes and outfits for those special occasions.
