The Warrandyte Mechanics Institute and Arts Association (Warrandyte Arts for short) is currently overhauling its archives.

This is in part, in preparation for a big celebration in 2028, when the current WMI hall turns 100.

If you, or anyone you know has information or photographs about the WMI hall and activities therein, especially in the years before the war and during the war into the early 1950s, we would be overjoyed to hear from you.

Well this is your chance! The Follies have given many actors their start on the stage. Everyone who auditions gets in.

It’s a great experience filled with laughter on and off stage.

So dust off that courage and come down join us!

The Fabulous Follies is coming to Warrandyte Theatre Company from 21st November to 7th December, and we’re inviting YOU to be part of it.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned performer, a shower singer, an air guitarist, or someone who’s never set foot on stage. With big roles, small roles, music, dance, comedy and quirky characters, we’ll find the right spot for you.

Not a performer? No worries. We also have additional roles for musicians, set builders, costume makers, lighting and sound operators, front-of-house and backstage crew. If you’re handy, creative, or just curious, we’ll welcome you into the fold.

At Warrandyte Theatre Company, theatre is about more than the show. It’s about laughter, friendship, community, and giving everyone the chance to shine...on stage or off.
