Every two years, Acclaim Awards Australia conducts its prestigious two-week-long Italian Opera Masterclass.

The Acclaim Awards Masterclasses objective is to provide intense teaching by one of Australia’s and Europe’s foremost sopranos and teachers, Michelle Francis Cook.

The next Acclaim Masterclass will be conducted from Monday 23rd September to Saturday 5th October 2024.

Next year in January we plan for another with male voices too!

My classical singing pupils will be performing in Sf Paul's Cathedral on he 15th of May as part of their Lunchtime Series of concerts.

Entry is by donation (although the elderly residence are not obligated to pay). The concert will showcase opera sopranos and mezzo soprano ranging from professional singers to young first-time performers with great talent, all under the tutorage of Michelle Francis Cook (International Opera Performer, Italy, Spain, Austria, Prague, Chile)

These singers are Juel Rigall, Isabel Hart, Lesley Salvestin-Collins, Erin Wigney, Helen Ling, and Lauren Hill (who is coming especially to perform from Tasmania).

They will be performing a 45-minute recital of favourite opera and classical solos, duets and ensembles, accompanied by the lovely Joyce Chahine (Piano).
