Little Chefs in the Making!
Our Little Chefs Program is all about introducing children to the wonderful world of cooking while building confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
This week, our budding chefs rolled up their sleeves, put on their chef hats and aprons, and got hands-on in the kitchen! From mixing ingredients and measuring oats to practising safe cutting techniques with child-friendly utensils, the children were actively developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, and confidence.
Cooking experiences provide so much more than just making delicious treats. They encourage children to:
β¨ Follow simple instructions
β¨ Explore different textures and ingredients
β¨ Develop early maths concepts through measuring and counting
β¨ Build confidence and independence
β¨ Strengthen social skills by working together as a team
Every master chef starts with the basics, and our little chefs are already showing fantastic enthusiasm, curiosity, and determination as they learn new skills in a safe and engaging environment.
We canβt wait to see what culinary creations they cook up next!
