🎢A D R E N A L I N E 🎢 Most people think adventure, we think anaphylaxis treatment💉🚑

Aside from the rush you get jumping out of the sky or whizzing down a rollercoaster, adrenaline is life-saving medication for someone experiencing a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis).

There are more adrenaline devices on the market in Australia now than ever before, so it's important to make an informed decision with your doctor about which device is right for you 🤔

We've compared the similarities and differences of these devices in our new Adrenaline Hub: EpiPen®, Anapen®, neffy® and Jext®.

🩸 Menstrual Hygiene Day 🩸

Today we recognise Menstrual Hygiene Day — raising awareness, breaking stigma, and supporting access to safe menstrual health education and products for all young people.

Periods are a normal part of life and should never be a barrier to education, sport, wellbeing, or confidence.

As school health professionals, we are committed to creating safe, supportive, and informed environments where students feel comfortable seeking help and having open conversations about their health.

Let’s continue to normalise the conversation and support dignity for all. 💛

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to reflect on how we can contribute to reconciliation through our everyday actions.

As nurses, reconciliation is deeply connected to providing culturally safe, respectful, and compassionate care. We recognise the importance of listening, building trust, and advocating for equity in health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

This year’s theme reminds us that reconciliation is an ongoing journey — one built through connection, understanding, and walking together towards a stronger future.

We remain committed to continuing to learn, reflect, and grow as a community.

Today we acknowledge National Sorry Day — a time to reflect on the ongoing impacts of the Stolen Generations and recognise the strength, resilience, and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As a community, we acknowledge the importance of truth, healing, respect, and connection. We are committed to continuing to learn, listen, and walk together towards reconciliation.
