This morning, OELLEN was proud to host our quarterly Catholic and Independent Schools meeting, a dedicated space to share information, resources, and ideas across our school communities.

We were delighted to be joined by Tom from atWork Australia , who brought valuable insights to the conversation on how he can support young people to get the supports they need to thrive. 🙌

At OELLEN, we deeply value the work we do cross-sectorally. No matter the school, no matter the student, we are committed to serving all schools and all students, every step of the way.

At OELLEN, our purpose is simple: help more young people move successfully from education into training and employment.

We work across Maroondah, Knox and the Yarra Ranges to support young people, especially those facing disadvantage, discrimination, or social isolation, to access real opportunities for their future.

We do this by bringing together schools, employers, training providers, community organisations and government, we help create stronger pathways and programs that connect young people with meaningful education, training and work.

Local employers – can you offer a work placement?

We’re looking for local businesses who can support young people with work placements and work experience opportunities.

For many students, a short placement is their first real insight into the world of work. It helps them understand what different jobs involve, build confidence, and start thinking about their future career pathways.

If your workplace could host a student, we’d love to hear from you. Your support makes a real difference in helping young people connect learning with real industry experience.
