Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing six-year-old boy Charlie.

Charlie was last seen in Mernda 24 December with a family member.

He is described as 140cm tall with short brown hair.

Charlie was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper over charcoal pants with black sneakers and blue headphones.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Police have shared an image of Charlie in the hopes that someone may have information on his whereabouts.

Celebrating our amazing team of beautiful educators once again. Lunch, desserts, gifts, massages and so many laughs & hugs all day long. Grateful is an understatement.

Last month, our 3 & 4 year old kindergarten groups had an exciting visit from our mates at Little Chompers. It was such an awesome and informative experience for the children.
Many questions were asked and comments were made during the presentation which not only empowered children’s voices but they were able to be active learners. Then, the children transitioned into having their teeth checked by the dentist.
Another wonderful incursion that we offer here, at Smiling Children 🌈

Tuesday’s are for Little Sports Heroes! 🏀🏈🏏🏃‍♀️
Every fortnight, we get an exciting visit from our friends at LSH, who run a sport session for each room at the service! 🤩
It’s evident how much we LOVE this program as all of the children are always so excited & eager to get involved and give new skills a go! We can’t thank the team enough for being so fun, kind, engaging, and caring! 💙

Our paddock is such a wonderful space for all children to engage and play in and with nature. We are so lucky to have this located in our front yard!
All children from the youngest of ages have the opportunity to explore, investigate, build, imagine, question and simply just b e. To b e one with nature and share curiosity and wonder about the world around them 🧡🌻☀️🪴🌖

Each week, our three and four-year old kindergarten children get to enjoy a beautiful afternoon stroll down to the Yarra Regional Library bus. Each child has the opportunity to choose two books to borrow and take home to read with their families 🧡 • It is always an enjoyable adventure for all! 📚

Our 4 year old Kinder’s enjoyed meeting Harold from LifeEd for the very first time. Together they unpacked some big topics including emotions, friendliness, respect, ways to improve our feelings, personal space and who our safe adults/people are.
