We now have three outstanding tertiary educated piano teachers offering lessons to students of all ages and abilities!

Melbourne Piano School is excited to welcome gifted jazz pianist, Caleb Wilson to our team. Caleb has studied with some of the biggest names in the Melbourne jazz scene, working with pianists such as Barney McAll, Joe O’Connor and Sam Keevers.

Currently, Caleb is completing a Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Improvisation at the Victorian College of the Arts, where he was awarded the Agnes Robertson Scholarship for Piano, and is mentored by Australian National Academy of Music’s Head of Keyboard, Timothy Young.

Caleb is available for jazz, classical and contemporary piano lessons for students of all ages and abilities at his home studio in St Kilda East.

Voice, Body, Rhythm: TaKeTiNa Rhythm Process Workshop Series (Melbourne) TaKeTiNa is a transformational group process working with the powerful tools of poly-rhythm, voice, movement, and somatic awareness.

Congratulations to Melbourne Piano School teacher Sam Colcheedas who is featured in this artistic film, Scenes of Nature which premiered last month at Tempo Rubato. Artist Karen Eriksen painted water colour interpretations to each movement of the piece live while Sam was performing.

Check out the film on Youtube below. They are planning another live performance at Montsalvat in Eltham later in the year!
