Staff and students - Mozart’s Eb serenade!
Bailey Hume is an Australian clarinetist and saxophonist. Trained in classical performance, his experience spans a diversity of genres, including classical, jazz, contemporary, and commercial. Bailey has performed in various settings including orchestras, big bands, theatre pits, and as studio musician, recording extensively for the University of Melbourne, and for the Australian Army Band (Melbourne), as principal clarinet. Bailey's recordings are featured in the Percy Grainger Museum. Bailey received his Undergraduate degree from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and he is currently working towards his master’s degree at the University of Georgia.
Don’t miss the Concerto Competition Winners performing with the UGA Symphony Orchestra on Thursday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. in Hodgson Concert Hall. Tickets are $3 with a valid UGA Student ID and $20 for Adults.

We are very excited to let you all know that late in 2021 Lyndon Watts was appointed Lecturer in Bassoon and Joseph Lallo was appointed Lecturer in Saxophone at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Both have been amazing over the last few years and in particular the last two. David Griffiths and I are so looking forward to working with these highly energized and incredibly talented musicians in 2022 and beyond!!!
