UJEB - United Jewish Education Board UJEB provides inclusive and engaging Jewish education and experiences for Jewish students in non-Jewish day schools.

More than 40% of kids in the Victorian Jewish community are in government schools. UJEB is working towards a strong Jewish future by helping these children to feel proudly Jewish, and strongly connected to their community.

Rosh Hashanah is a wake-up call. The sound of the shofar asks us to stop, reflect and think about the year ahead.

And this year, we ask you to think about a child.

A child discovering what it means to be Jewish.
A child finding pride in who they are.
A child finding a place where they truly belong.

Every Jewish child deserves that opportunity. But not every family can access it without support.

It takes a community to ensure that no child misses out on the chance to BUILD their Jewish identity, be INSPIRED by their heritage and know that they BELONG.

Did you know? The apple and honey tradition was originally associated with Ashkenazi Jewish communities (Central & Eastern European Jews) and is now enjoyed by Jewish families around the world.

Did you know? The shofar is sounded throughout the month of Elul, on Rosh Hashanah and one final blast to mark the end of the Yom Kippur fast.
