g-oz Giving Circles are a fantastic opportunity to fundraise creatively as a volunteer coordinator.
Supporting the Giving Circle campaign can be approached in many different ways. Here’s some inspiration…
💬 MESSAGE your network in a way that feels most comfortable to you. Text, DM, call, email - it's all up to you! Let them know a bit about us; why you've chosen to support us; and how they can support the campaign.
📅 MEET up with your network. It can be as low-key or as high-energy as you'd like. Plan a g-oz breakfast fundraiser; a movie night fundraiser; a shared hike or bike ride; or simply meet over a coffee or two.
🎨 MAKE something to share with your network. In previous years, we've seen bake sales, DIY craft sales, and sausage sizzles happen in schools, workplaces and in community.
🎵 MUSIC performances have been a big fundraising hit each year for g-oz. Consider performing with your friends or bandmates at a local venue and rally donations in support of g-oz!
We encourage you to fundraise in the best way that works for you. Consider your current capacity, your availability and your resources when determining your fundraising approach.

What is a giving circle and what does it mean to be a part of one?
A giving circle is a group of value-aligned individuals who come together to discuss and collectively decide where to donate a pooled gift in support of a charitable cause.
Collective giving not only multiplies philanthropic impact, but also provides a space for individuals to share and expand on their knowledge and resources; to connect with their community; and contribute to a positive philanthropic endeavour, no matter their financial status.
As part of the 2026 g-oz Giving Circles Campaign, we invite you to lead your own g-oz Giving Circle and:
➖ GATHER with your network.
➖ DISCUSS g-oz: who we are, what we do, and what our campaign is all about.
➖ DECIDE how much you would like to gift g-oz over a cup of tea, a text message, a bake sale, or whatever wild fundraising initiative you decide to coordinate!
➖ GIVE what you can in support of our 23rd and 24th g-oz Travel Program to Perth and Melbourne.

We love when the Australian Girls Choir joins with g-oz for our annual Reverse Travel Program. This year, 6 choristers were selected to travel to La Grange Remote Community School in Bidyadanga for a week of exchange and cultural learning. And lots of singing and dancing.
Here is a small selection of the many photos we took to remember the experience. 💚

We’re so glad to be in our 17th year partnering with Halls Creek District High School. And what a great way to celebrate - with a return performance at the Party in the Park at the Ord Valley Muster. Well done girls!

The theme for National Reconciliation Week is All In and it’s a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every single day.
We come together to learn about our shared cultures and histories, acknowledging what still needs to be done to achieve a reconciled and united Australia, and exploring the ways that each of us can contribute to Australia’s ongoing reconciliation journey.
“All In makes clear that reconciliation is not a spectator sport, and that all of us must step away from the sidelines and take action to make change. All In is not about guilt or shame, but about the reciprocal responsibility of being Australian.”
🖤💛❤️
