This one's a little bit different from our usual IC resources. As you'll see in the text instructions, you (the teacher/parent/carer) reads part of the story and the child reads the portion of the text they can decode. ‼️ Starting high school is a huge transition for kids especially those that struggle with organisation. I find the best way to keep my kids organised is to colour code their books and folders. For each subject, I get them an exercise book and colour matching display book and/or document wallet/binder. I also grab them a clipboard where they can keep up to date to do lists, calendars etc. I love these exercise books as the pages are also the corresponding colour - so they are not just relying on the front cover. We all know how much kids love to scribble all over the covers 😐
