The spectacular Melboure River Cruise, exquisite cuisine served in an extremely fashionable dining room, and a vibrant atmosphere set across Melbourne's legendary Yarra River compose this year's mega event organised by MSTA.
Sixteen esteemed students participated in this event, experiencing a pleasant evening bursting with entertainment, enjoyment, and spontaneous relationship building between peers.
A special thanks to MGA, Monash University and Spirit of Melbourne Dinner Cruise for supporting the event.

Hello everyone! YTN is going to organize some exciting events coming up in June for the students. The details are given below:
1. Share a Yarn: Bushfoods Tour with Sam May
Join us for an exclusive chance to reconnect with nature through the perspective of First Nation wisdom, led by Sam May. Through a journey of identifying significant native plants within Royal Park, participants will gain insights into the Aboriginal plant uses, customs, and ongoing connection to Country. This event is an invitation to appreciate the ancient wisdom and knowledge of Australia’s first Peoples and deepen our understanding of the intricate relationship between the land, its people, and its plants.
When: Saturday 3rd June at 10:30am - 12:30pm
Where: Walmsley house
Cost: Free for YTN members, $15 for students and $30 for non YTN members

Who are we looking for?
* Must be currently enrolled in the Masters of International Sustainable Tourism Management with at least six months until graduation.
* Must have access to social media avenues (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
* Able to work in a team and independently.
* Be able to commit to 1-2 hours per week to complete tasks
Key Responsibilities:
* Being a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (ie: Professors, venues, other associations and so on).
* Assist in creating grants and funding applications.
* Assist in developing social events online and in person.
* Booking and organising activities for events.
* Actively participating in meetings and closely working with other leadership members
* Basic/General administrative duties
* Represent MSTA where necessary and aim to create meaningful moments for students of the association

Young Tourism Network’s Trusted Advisor Program has officially kicked off, with applications open for both advisors and advisees.
The Trusted Advisor Program connects emerging tourism, events and hospitality professionals (Advisees) with established industry professionals (Advisors) in a three-month coaching program. We aim to match advisees and advisors based on career interests and experiences.
Advisees and advisors catch up (online or in person) for 30-45 minutes every fortnight from early August to October with opportunity for workplace visits where possible. The sessions are semi-structured with flexibility and scope for each pair to co-develop a plan that suits their schedule and needs.
Applications are open until the 12th of June.
