Our little veggie garden is growing beautifully! 🌿 The children have been busy planting, watering, and caring for our vegetables every day. Through hands-on gardening experiences, they are learning about nature, responsibility, and where our food comes from. We can't wait to watch our veggies grow and enjoy the harvest together! 🥕🍅

✨ Book Week Fun! ✨📚
What a wonderful week of storytelling, imagination, and creativity! Our children and educators came dressed as their favourite book characters, bringing beloved stories to life.
It was fantastic to see everyone embracing the joy of reading and sharing their favourite books with friends. From classic characters to modern favourites, the day was filled with excitement, laughter, and lots of inspiration.

Ever had one of those "What should I be doing with my child?" moments? You might already have the answer at home.

Earlier this year, every Goodstart family received a What & When for Families guide for each child. If it's been tucked away in a drawer since then, now might be the perfect time to pull it back out.

The guide is packed with simple, play-based activities that support your child's learning and development at home. Best of all, it's written in your child's voice, with ideas tailored to their age and developmental stage.

From singing songs with babies and playing peek-a-boo, to "I Spy" games, storytelling and treasure hunts with older children, the activities are designed to fit naturally into everyday moments you already share together.

We know learning doesn't only happen in the classroom. Those small moments at home can help build big communication, language and literacy skills.

Take another look through your What & When for Families guide to explore age-appropriate activities and learning ideas you can try together.

🔬🌈 Science in Action at Kinder One! 🌈🔬
Today, our curious learners explored a fascinating science experiment using milk, food colouring, and dishwashing liquid.
This hands-on experience encouraged children to make predictions, observe changes, ask questions, and develop an understanding of cause and effect. Through play-based learning, they explored early scientific concepts while strengthening their curiosity, critical thinking, and communication skills.
What a fun and exciting way to discover that science is all around us! 🧪✨
