Children showed interest in the book Just One More Hug. To extend their learning, an imaginative play basket was set up with a mummy elephant 🐘, baby elephant 🐘, trees 🌳, water 💧 and flowers 🌸. Children explored the materials, recreated story moments and engaged in pretend play, developing language, creativity and emotional connection.

Today during group time, we discussed rainy and cloudy weather ☁️🌦️. Children showed great interest in different weather conditions. To extend their curiosity, we created a weather corner with flashcards and a sensory tub (clouds, rainbows, raindrops, sun, thunderstorms). 🌩️☀️ They explored excitedly and shared ideas.

Children explored the sensory rice tub, excitedly searching for hidden alphabet letters. They matched the letters with flashcards and identified them in books 📚. Some children sang alphabet sounds while others traced letters with their fingers in the rice ✋🌾, showing confidence and curiosity.

Children explored different shapes using picture cards and playdough. They carefully rolled, pressed, and shaped the dough to create borders around circles, triangles, and squares. They compared sizes, counted sides, and proudly named each shape. Fine motor skills ✋ and hand-eye coordination 👀 were clearly developing through this hands-on experience.
