To be recognised as an industry benchmark for early childhood education and care – focused on continual development in order to exceed industry quality standards. Our mission

To deliver an early learning environment that feels like an extension of the family home – encouraging children’s creativity, curiosity and sense of self. In doing so, we instil in them the self-confidence needed to ensure a readiness for life’s journey. Our values

Excellence: we focus on providing the best quality education and care possible
Curiosity: we encourage continual development through exploration and discovery
Community: we promote respect for all members of the community
Empowerment: we encourage self-belief, and the power of independent thought and action
Partnership: we work together with parents to build trust and create environments most conducive to their child’s development

Our philosophy

Little Flyers Learning Centre’s believe that each child comes with their own unique knowledge, beliefs, culture, learning style and values. We believe family is central to the child’s learning and development. Our educational programs ensure each child is respected as an individual and encouraged to reach their personal potential. We teach children that they are one amongst many in their community and that we all have the right to belong. Each child will develop their own culture and share it with others. Sharing experiences encourages every child to feel safe, respected and supported. Our learning spaces inspire trust, relationships, self-belief and empowerment. Children are taught to be resilient and to take risks in their play, to ensure safety, self-confidence, self-awareness and coping skills for future learning. We know that a child will learn most effectively when they are interested, inspired, curious and supported. The children in our care are our partners in education. We learn together. Our educators encourage questions, scaffold learning and assist children to find the answers they seek. Whether it is body language, crying, signing, laughing, babbling or talking, all children communicate. Little Flyers encourages self-expression in all forms and encourage communication via various measures such as singing, reading, communication technology and through the senses

We are deeply grateful to our valued Early Learning Stakeholders for helping us recognise and celebrate Australia’s incredible Early Childhood Educators.

Every day, educators give so much of themselves to the children in their care. They comfort little hearts, celebrate small victories, encourage curious minds, wipe away tears, share in laughter, and create safe spaces where children can simply be themselves.

Their work goes far beyond teaching. They help shape confidence, kindness, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning - leaving a lasting impact on children and families in ways that may not always be seen, but are always felt.

Today, we celebrate the educators who show up with patience, compassion, and dedication, day after day. Thank you for the love you pour into what you do and for the difference you make in so many little lives.

Your work matters. Your care matters. And you matter. 🌿

Today we are wearing yellow to celebrate Wattle Day! The golden wattle is an iconic Australian symbol representing growth, unity, and bright beginnings values we foster in our learning environment every day. Our children are welcoming the new season through yellow-themed creative arts, learning about native flowers, and exploring nature outdoors.

Be sure to wear a splash of yellow today as we step into Spring together!

For the past five years, Michaela has been a treasured part of the ENCC family, touching the lives of children and families with her kindness and unwavering belief in the potential of every child. Her journey into Early Childhood Education began in a primary school OSH program, where she discovered the joy of supporting children’s independence, well-being, and sense of belonging. While she formed beautiful relationships with school-aged children, she soon realised that her heart was being pulled towards the magic of the early years, the precious time when children are discovering who they are and who they can become.

Inspired by the extraordinary impact educators can have during a child’s earliest chapters, Michaela followed her passion and found her place in Early Childhood Education. She was drawn to the privilege of helping children see the world through curious eyes, nurturing their confidence, and creating a space where they feel safe, loved, and accepted exactly as they are.
Each day, Michaela is reminded of why she chose this path through the children she teaches. She finds beauty in the smallest moments: a child’s proud smile after achieving something they once thought they couldn’t do, the excitement in their eyes when they make a new discovery, or the trust they show when reaching for her hand.

Beyond ENCC, Michaela finds happiness in the simple moments spent with the people she loves most. Whether she is keeping active at the gym, sharing laughter and meals with friends, spending cherished time with her partner, or exploring new places through travel, she embraces every opportunity to create meaningful memories and connections.
