Learning with nature, on nature and from nature.
At The Grove, our children have the opportunity to immerse themselves in our Bush Kinder program, with our 4-year-old Kindergarten children attending weekly and our 3-year-old Kindergarten children attending fortnightly.
Through intentionally planned experiences on Country, children are encouraged to explore, investigate, problem-solve and connect with the natural environment. Whether building shelters from natural materials, discovering hidden spaces within trees, or working collaboratively with peers, Bush Kinder supports confidence, resilience, creativity and a deep sense of belonging in nature.
These rich learning experiences foster children's curiosity, independence and respect for the environment while creating meaningful opportunities to learn through play, risk-taking and exploration in authentic outdoor settings.

Early Literacy in Action! โ๏ธ
From recognising pictures to exploring letters and sounds, early literacy begins through play. Today, our learners connected words with meaning as they traced and explored language using their senses.
What new words has your child been curious about lately?

We visited our friends at and reconnected with some of our beautiful 2025 Kinder children ๐
It was incredibly heartwarming to see familiar faces, hear their stories, and watch them proudly share their new learning experiences with us. The connections built during early childhood continue far beyond Kinder, and moments like these remind us of the importance of belonging, relationships, and community. โจ
We are so proud to see our children growing with confidence as they continue their learning journey, while still holding onto the connections created here at The Grove ๐ฟ

Today during our On Country Program, our Kinder children explored the world around them through observation, imagination, and meaningful conversations about community and place ๐ฟ
Along our journey we spotted:
๐ฒ 2 bikes
๐ 1 bee
๐ฆ 2 butterflies
๐ 23 moving cars
We also discovered two empty blocks of land, which sparked incredible discussions and ideas from the children about what could be built there โ including a play centre, doggy day care, shop, hospital, and even a petrol station!
Experiences like these support children to connect with their community, strengthen their sense of belonging, and develop confidence in sharing their ideas, theories, and understanding of the world around them. ๐ญโจ

Happy Motherโs Day ๐ธ
Today we celebrate every kind of mum and every special person who helps children feel safe, loved and deeply cared for.
To the mums, grandmothers, aunties, carers, step mums, foster mums and all nurturing hearts โ thank you for the love you give so freely, the quiet sacrifices you make, and the warmth you bring into childrenโs lives each and every day.
Your care helps little people grow with confidence, kindness and love.
With love from all of us at The Grove ๐ค
