SSU is going on a mid-semester break.

Please be informed that the Swinburne Student Union office, along with all our services and events, will be closed from Monday, September 9th to Friday, September 13th.

During this period, there will be no activities or services available, including our regular services like FoodBank, breakfast, printing, and BBQs.

Students of Swinburne University are invited to an exclusive preview of the National Communication Museum (NCM), a new museum that explores the technologies that empower us to shape our future.

NCM is the connector between arts, industry, education and technology, located in the heart of Hawthorn.

Now more than ever we need a museum that questions and investigates our relationship with technologies and the role they play in our lives.

To ensure the best results for the photoshoot, please follow these clothing guidelines.

1. Colours: Solid colours work best on camera. Avoid overly bright or neon colours, as they can reflect light in unexpected ways.
2. Patterns: Please avoid clothing with busy patterns, stripes, or small checks, as these can create visual distortions and be distracting in the final images. Simple, clean designs are ideal.
3. Logos and Branding: Avoid wearing clothing with large logos or branding to keep the focus on you and not the apparel.
4. Accessories: Avoid anything too shiny or reflective, as these can catch the light and cause unwanted reflections.

The most important thing is you wear clothes that make you feel comfortable. This will help you look natural and at ease during the day!
