An Exchange, Network and Family:

Through sponsorship from SAGSE (Scholarships for Australian-German Student Exchange) and prominent firms, exchange scholarships are awarded to select high school students. GASS Australia is the association of scholarship alumni who aim to ensure future GASSies can receive the same life changing experience we were able to. We handle the day-to-day running of the ex

change, host year-round events and provide further opportunities for German language students. 

We are a global network, connected across generations by our shared experiences and values.

Save the date!

We are getting ready for our third annual get-together to catch up with GASSie friends of all ages and raise money for the 2026/27 GASS and SAGSE Alumni scholarships. We’ll be back at the Hofbräuhaus in Market Lane, 4 - 7 pm on June 12. So drop by after work, stay as long as you like. A range of tickets from $25 to $100 will include different levels of German drinks and food, with student prices at all levels too! There will be some raffles with great prizes. Money from every ticket and the raffle will go towards scholarships. Tickets will be on sale soon! Tell your GASS friends!
