We introduced a dedicated music area to build on the toddlers’ love of singing and dancing. We often hear them singing in the room like “Twinkle, twinkle!” and “Shake it off”.
Their enthusiasm shows how meaningful music is in their learning and how confidently they engage with this new space.

Our feelings and emotions corner invites children to safely explore and express how they feel through sensory play and reflection. With colourful textured mats, emotion picture displays, and a mirror for self-expression, this space supports emotional awareness, self-regulation, and social understanding. Ellie said with a smile, “Happy!” while pointing to the picture, showing pride in recognising and naming her own feelings.

Last Thursday, our Kinder 4 children went on an adventure to the café across the road, the children were so excited to enjoy a babycino, they especially loved the marshmallows and the sprinkles on top, some of them even had a milk moustache!

This sweet little tray was lovingly set up to feed the natural curiosity of our babies and toddlers. With those easy-to-hold wooden pieces and the fun contrasting texture, it's perfect for growing those fine motor skills like reaching and grasping in a cozy, safe space, all while sparking some gentle, early imaginative play.

Our special visitors spent time in their grandchildren’s classrooms, joining in with fun activities, sharing stories, and making memories together. It was so lovely to see all the smiles and laughter throughout the day!

To finish off, our grandparents enjoyed some delicious treats to take with them on their way home a sweet ending to a very special day.

A big thank you to all the grandparents who joined us and to everyone who helped make the day so memorable!

The Kinder 4 children are encouraged daily to sign their names in the folder, this is a great opportunity to develop literacy skills such as recognizing and writing their own names. 📕✏️
