Honey, teamwork, and a whole lot of buzz!

In the lead-up to Rosh HaShanah, all our Kinder students explored the magical world of bees to learn all about the sweet treat behind the beloved tradition of wishing for a sweet year ahead.

Beekeeper and KDS parent, Lev, visited our learners to share fascinating insights into hive life.

The children got up close with a real honeycomb and were amazed to discover how bees work together as an ultimate team to collect nectar and create honey.

Connecting with peers and stepping out of their comfort zones, our Year 5 students are having a ball on camp this week!

Out in nature, they are gaining fresh perspectives, building resilience, and learning a lot along the way.

Watching our Year 5s encourage one another, take responsibility for themselves, and develop newfound independence and confidence is what camp is all about.

At the Year 7 Kabbalat Mitzvah ceremony, Zach and Milla reflected on how their Jewish identity manifests through unique personal and family traditions.

They felt gratitude for the opportunity to learn and practice in a safe, supportive environment, viewing their B'nei Mitzvah as a vital milestone.

Families were then able to rotate through interactive sessions focused on key mitzvot, all expertly led by our Year 7s!

It was an incredibly proud moment for our teachers and families to see our students so deeply engaged with their Jewish learning.

Our Junior, Middle and Senior School star musicians filled the stage with incredible energy. Huge applause to our ensembles: Junior Strings, RocKing David Band, Concert Band, Nana Band, Senior Strings Ensemble, and Senior Choir.

Solo highlights featured Riley H (Year 10) presenting his mesmerizing, winning, original composition “Day One,” plus exceptional solo prowess from Zac S (Year 5) on trumpet and Harry G (Year 7) on saxophone.

Bringing the house down, VCE Music Ensemble, The Three Amigos, delivered an unforgettable grand finale to cap off a magnificent celebration of musical excellence!
