Today was a special day on the Year 5 Calendar at the Junior School, with Writing a Book in a Day taking centre stage 📚

The students, split into 8 teams, worked from 8:30 this morning with the goal of writing an entire book in a single day, with them throughout.

It was fascinating listening to passages from the stories read out, with the imaginations of these students and ex*****on of their books being very impressive.

The day culminated in an epic winning moment, with a King David first, two teams tying for the prestigious Writing a Book in a Day win!

The justifiable pride on the faces of students and staff was wonderful to see.

Incredible effort from all involved. King David is extremely proud.
