Do you know someone using Performance and Image Enhancing Drugs? Have you had experience of them yourself? Curtin University are conducting a study to better understand how to help reduce diseases like Hep C and improve health in the PIED population. See the attached flyer for details of their confidential survey.

Do you inject performance and image enhancing drugs?

We are seeking gay men and men who have s*x with men who are 18 years or older and have injected performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs) in the past 12 months.

We are keen to hear from you. The purpose of the study is to learn about your experiences of injecting PIEDs, how you make decisions about your use, your health knowledge and ways of managing risks.

Participation is confidential and anonymous. It involves a one-on-one, conversational style, recorded interview. It will take about 1 hour to complete and you will be reimbursed $50 for your time.

Now recruiting: performance and image enhancing drugs study. The SSAC team is recruiting for our project investigating experiences of performance and image enhancing drug use in Australia. At the moment, we’re hoping to conduct more interviews with men who inject performance and image enhancing drugs (e.g. steroids and peptides) in Victoria before moving on to recruit in NSW and Qld.
