New subject matter for this latest work! I have no idea what this dried pod is. If anyone knows please message me. I found this beautiful dried plant in the window of a florist and fell in love with its earthy yellow texture. This painting will be 90cm tall x 100cm wide and will be available toward the end of the year.

Something new happening in the studio today. I found these dried pods .flowers a few years back, I’ve painted them before but this time I’m going to do a series of work on them. They are totally fascinating to me!

Treated to an Artist studio tour in Hoi An, Vietnam recently. We Met with Pham Thanh Minh, he has been creating incredible original work for 30+ years. Such a beautiful humble man. We climbed the ladder to the second story of his galley to find the studio crammed with his beautiful works of Hoi An, family, portraits and pure abstract works. He even showed us the trap door in the floor where he hoists the canvas through. Thanks for sharing your work and your space!
