The Centre provides early learning and child care to children aged from 6 weeks old up until they start at Primary School. With only 46 places, children are cared for in a warm, family-friendly and homely environment where they feel loved, included and understood. Our Community Kinder excursion program is all about getting outside the classroom and into the community! *
Yesterday, we hopped on the bus to visit our friends at for National Reconciliation Week.
We soared like Bundjil the eagle and hopped like Guyeem the kangaroo. These visits are always an exciting adventure.

As we head into National Reconciliation Week, we used a wonderful resource created by SNAICC to explore the history and meaning behind the colours of the Aboriginal Flag. Our kinder children loved using red, yellow, and black to connect with this important learning through art.

Weโ€™ve been exploring all kinds of fresh fruit and veg at kinder, plus reading Off to the Market by Alice Oehr.

The children chose so many exciting fruits and vegetables to take back, cut up and try! ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅ•๐ŸŒฝ๐Ÿฅฌ

Recently we ventured out to visit our friends at . โœจ

We loved singing and dancing during our own Storytime with the Librarian. Iโ€™m a Little Teapot and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Once I Caught a Fish Alive were our favourites. We all laughed through the book Piranhas Donโ€™t Eat Bananas ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŽฃ

After Storytime we had a relaxing browse and borrowed a few stories to take back to kinder. ๐Ÿ“–

Our Community Kinder Excursion Program kicked off today with a trip to our local Mornington Peninsula Libraries. First the lovely librarian took us on a tour explaining all the great things about our Library before we had our very own Storytime session. โœจ

We read books, sung songs and did some dancing. Then we did bit of browsing before borrowing some stories to take back to kinder.
