This NAIDOC Week our children gathered at the yarning circle to read How the Kangaroos Got Their Tails and The Bat and the Crocodile, snuggled up on cushions among the native greenery.

Sharing these stories helps our children build understanding and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures from the very start. ❤️🖤💛

Henny Penny Hatching Program 🐥

Excitement is filling our centre as our Henny Penny Hatching Program has begun! The children are fascinated as they observe the incredible life cycle of a chicken, from egg to fluffy chick.

This hands-on experience encourages curiosity, responsibility, and respect for living things while supporting children’s understanding of science and nature through real-life learning. We can’t wait to watch our chicks grow and continue this special learning journey together!

The children have been so captivated watching this real-time life cycle unfold over the last few weeks. From hungry caterpillars to cozy chrysalises, and now these gorgeous butterflies, it’s been an unforgettable learning journey for everyone at the centre. 🥰

The Very Hungry Caterpillar: The Live Action Remake! 🐛📖

Turn the sound on for a very serious play-by-play on which one is the fastest climber. It’s pretty incredible watching them transform from leaf-eating machines to a chrysalis, and finally into butterflies.

There’s nothing quite like seeing the pride on our children’s faces as they share their creations with their favorite people.
