My Heel pain - Education for people with pain beneath the heel

Do you have pain beneath the heel? The research involves a 60-minute interview including a free assessment of your heel pain.

If so, you are invited to take part in a research study to explore your educational needs and experience of having the condition. This information will help us to produce freely available resources that can be used to inform patients, enable shared-decision making, and improve self-management of this common and disabling condition. Do you have pain beneath your heel?

If so, you may be eligible to participate in a research study being conducted by La Trobe University. The aim of the study is to investigate the impact of the use of the internet on heel pain. To be eligible, you need to be aged 18 years or over, have pain beneath your heel in at least one foot, for more than four weeks. You would be required to access resources on the internet to treat your heel pain for 12 weeks; attend one video call with a registered Podiatrist (15 minutes) and complete three assessments via online questionnaires (30 minutes each).

All participants will receive a $40 shopping voucher for their participation in the study.
