Meet Nina who works in the Junior Toddler room ♥

Last week, the children in KA celebrated the Global Day of Parents and discussed the important role that parents and caregivers play in their lives. They shared their thoughts about the people who care for them and expressed their appreciation through conversations. The children then engaged in craft and drawing activities, creating special artworks to celebrate and honour their families.

♻️🔤 Our Kinder A children have been exploring letter recognition through a fun and engaging matching game! 🌟

Using recyclable materials, the children focused on recognising the letters A, B, and C by searching for and matching items with the corresponding letters. 🧃📦🔠

This hands-on learning experience encouraged the children to explore literacy concepts through play while also supporting their problem-solving skills, letter recognition, and understanding of sustainability by reusing everyday materials. 🌱✨

The children showed great enthusiasm as they worked together to identify and match the letters throughout the activity! 💛

🍂🍁 The Kinder B children have been learning about the changing seasons through hands-on exploration and play. 🌿✨

A child from the kinder B room kindly brought in a bag of autumn leaves and pinecones for the children to investigate. During the experience, Christy and the children discussed the different shapes, colours, and sizes of the natural materials, sparking lots of curiosity and conversation. 🍂🌰

As the children began counting the leaves and pinecones, this naturally led into a numeracy experience where they practised counting to 10 by placing the natural resources into numbered boxes. 🔢🍃

This engaging experience supported the children’s early mathematical skills while also encouraging observation, discussion, and an appreciation for the natural environment. 💛🍁

💜💕 Our Kinder B children were exploring a special Mother’s Day invitation provocation last week! 💕💜

Using buttons, loose parts, and different shapes, the children were encouraged to explore materials freely while engaging in meaningful conversations about the important people in their lives. 🌸✨

This experience supported the children’s curiosity, fine motor development, and creativity as they investigated patterns, textures, and designs in their own unique ways. 🫶
