Bop Along Baby: Music classes for Babies, Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers.

I found my ‘Song Journal’ at my Mum and Dad’s. It’s from 1985 so I think it’s from Grade 2 or 3 🥹
Love the very profound excerpt from my Whitney Houston phase, and the first song I ever wrote in Grade 1 called ‘The Mystery’ (my sister and I can still sing it), and there’s even “A Ram Sam Sam” or however I spelled it back then.

Learning through music, kids being kids, confidence and creativity. It’s pretty much the heart of Bop Along Baby 💛🎶

I had the honour of being a guest judge at the Croxton Band Room on Thursday night for — and I was in seriously good company.

— lead singer of Regurgitator and all-round legend.
Michael Parisi — the guy who signed Regurgitator, The Whitlams, Motor Ace and The Superjesus, and now manages the likes of Tina Arena and Dan Sultan.
Brit Wynne - — Venue booker with a fiery eye for booking upcoming and trending bands.

It’s genuinely refreshing to see top-tier industry legends backing this initiative — because if we don’t ignite the passion for music from an early age then there will be no bands to sign, no artists to manage, no scene to celebrate.

My Grandma is turning 100 next month! ONE HUNDRED! 😮

She recently made these little teddies to give to my Bop Along kids. 🧸 Some even named their teddy after her - ‘Larly’ ❤️

I’ve never felt so moved by the bridging of generations.

P.S. My Wednesday morning class were the lucky recipients (she made 9… so I might need to put her to work again next term 😂)

It’s clunky, it’s old and It’s like a force of gravity everytime I whip out the 🎶
