📢 Bridging Visa Delays
We have raised ongoing concerns with the Department about delays in issuing Bridging Visas (BVS) associated to partner visa applications.
The Department has acknowledged the issue and advised that improvements in processing times are expected in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, lawyers escalate urgent cases, particularly where delays may result in applicants becoming unlawful.
